On our way back to Mt Gambier we saw signs for Mount Schank volcano climb. Anna, Daryl and I decided to do the climb while Yvonne relaxed in the car. It was 329 steps to the top but the view was definitely worth it. Daryl beat us to the top but Anna and I took our time as we both realized how out of shape we felt! And let’s be honest – it is the middle of an Australian summer and we both come from cold countries!! 
We made it to the top!
This is the “fake blue lake” is what I like to call it. It is NOTHING compared to the real Blue Lake. It was stinky and we could not get away from the flies.
We went on a nature walk and I quite enjoyed the name of this lookout.
